Hans Multscher
Duitse beeldhouwer met noordse stijl
Hans Multscher was een Duitse beeldhouwer en schilder. Multscher werd geboren in Reichenhofen (tegenwoordig Leutkirch im Allgäu). Hij raakte vertrouwd met nieuwe kunststijlen uit Noord-Frankrijk en de Nederlanden, en werd in 1427 vrijburger van de stad Ulm. Daar trouwde hij in hetzelfde jaar met Adelheid Kitzin. Hij runde zijn eigen atelier als schilder en beeldhouwer, samen met zijn broer Heinrich Multscher. Multscher stierf in Ulm.
