Hendrick van Anthonissen

Hendrick van Anthonissen fue un pintor de marinas holandés. Van Anthonissen nació y murió en Amsterdam. Fue hijo de Aert Anthonisz (alias Aart van Antum) y pintó en el estilo de su cuñado y maestro Jan Porcellis y de Jan van Goyen. Es el autor de pinturas de mar en el Hermitage, San Petersburgo y en la Galería de Praga, que a través de sus firmas han sido atribuidas a un mítico Hendrik van Antem. En la década de 1630 vivió en La Haya, Leiden y Leiderdorp, pero desde 1642 regresó a Amsterdam. Es conocido por escenas de playa y marinas al estilo de Jan Porcellis, a veces en grisalla. Fue el padre del pintor de marinas Arnoldus van Anthonissen.
