Hendrick van Anthonissen

Hendrick van Anthonissen foi um pintor de marinhas holandês. Van Anthonissen nasceu e morreu em Amsterdam. Ele era filho de Aert Anthonisz (também conhecido como Aart van Antum) e pintou no estilo de seu irmão e professor Jan Porcellis e de Jan van Goyen. Ele é o autor de pinturas marítimas no Hermitage, São Petersburgo e na Galeria de Praga, que através de suas assinaturas foram atribuídas a um mítico Hendrik van Antem. Na década de 1630, ele viveu em Haia, Leiden e Leiderdorp, mas a partir de 1642, ele voltou para Amsterdam. Ele é conhecido por cenas de praia e marinhas no estilo de Jan Porcellis, às vezes em grisaille. Ele foi o pai do pintor de marinhas Arnoldus van Anthonissen.
