Hendrik Bary foi um eminentes gravador holandês. Bary nasceu e morreu em Gouda. Pelo seu estilo, parece ter sido um aluno de Cornelis Visscher, ou ter formado o seu estilo a partir do modo deste. Temos várias placas dele de retratos e diversos temas, executadas muito cuidadosamente com o buril, que têm grande mérito, embora de modo algum sejam iguais às obras de Visscher. Ele geralmente marcava suas placas com seu nome, H. Bary, e às vezes H. B.
