Henry Dawe

Henry Edward Dawe était un graveur et peintre de genre anglais, frère de l'artiste George Dawe Dawe est né à Kentish Town, près de Londres, en 1790. Il a été formé par son père, Philip Dawe, graveur, et a également étudié dans les écoles de la Royal Academy. Il a assisté Turner pour son Liber Studiorum et a réalisé de nombreuses gravures en manière noire des portraits de son frère. En tant que peintre, il a exposé à la Society of British Artists, dont il a été élu membre en 1830. Il est mort à Windsor en 1848.
