Henry Dawe

Henry Edward Dawe era un incisore e pittore di genere inglese, fratello dell'artista George Dawe Dawe nacque a Kentish Town, vicino a Londra, nel 1790. Fu istruito da suo padre, Philip Dawe, incisore, e studiò anche nelle scuole della Royal Academy. Assistette Turner nel suo Liber Studiorum e realizzò molte mezzotinte dei ritratti di suo fratello. Come pittore, espose alla Society of British Artists, di cui fu eletto membro nel 1830. Morì a Windsor nel 1848.
