ヤコブ・マタム
著名オランダ版画家
ハールレム出身のヤコブ・マタムは、有名なエングレーバーおよび製図師であった。彼は画家であり製図師のヘンドリック・ホルツィウスの継子であり弟子であった。また、彼がその妹マリイトヘンと結婚したため、エングレーバーのシモン・ファン・ポーレンブルフの義兄弟であった。1611年から1615年にかけて、彼はピーテル・パウル・ルーベンスの絵画に基づくいくつかの版画を制作し、さらにピーテル・アールツェンの作品に基づく一連の版画も制作した。1613年には、エングレーバーのヤン・ファン・デ・フェルデが彼の徒弟となった。彼はヤン、テオドルス、アドリアーン・マタムの父であり、末子自身も著名なエングレーバーであった。
