야코프 마우러
크론베르크파 독일 풍경화가
Jakob Maurer는 독일 풍경화가였다. Maurer는 Städel 미술학교에서 공부했으며 화가 Jakob Becker의 제자였다. 그의 동창 Carl Theodor Reiffenstein도 마인 강변 프랑크르트에서 그의 예술적 발전에 영향을 미쳤다. Maurer는 후에 뒤셀도르프 회화학교를 통해 유럽의 회화 교육 중심지가 된 뒤셀도르프로 이주하여 Anton Burger와 함께 August Weber의 사립학생이 되었는데, August Weber의 풍경화는 Johann Wilhelm Schirmer의 영향을 받았다. Maurer lived and worked in Kronberg and was a member of the Kronberg painters' colony. Jakob Maurer는 1887년 5월 2일 Kronberg에서 60세가 넘어 사망했다.
