James Arthur O'Connor(1792년 – 1841년 1월 7일)는 아일랜드 화가였다. James Arthur O'Connor는 더블린의 애스턴스 퀘이 15번지에서 태어났다——그의 아버지는 조각가이자 인쇄업자인 William O'Connor였다. O'Connor는 후에 뛰어난 풍경화가가 되었다. 그는 독학으로, William Sadler에게서 소수의 수업만 받았다. 그는 Francis Danby와 George Petrie와 함께 런던으로 여행하여 1822년 왕립미술학원에서 전시했다. O'Connor는 프랑스, 벨기에, 네덜란드, 그리고 라인란드를 방문했다. 그는 1841년 1월 7일 런던의 브롬프턴에서 가난한 상태로 사망했다. O'Connor는 결혼했으며, 그의 아내 이름은 Anastatia였다.
