제임스 폴러드
영국 마차와 말 그림
James Pollard는 우편 마차, 여우 사냥, 말을 주제로 한 그림으로 유명한 영국 화가였습니다. 폴라드는 이즐링턴의 베인스 스파 필즈(후에 엑스머스 스트리트로 개명)에서 태어났으며, 화가이자 출판인인 로버트 폴라드(1755–1838)의 아들이었다. 1821년부터 1839년 사이, 제임스 폴라드는 왕립 예술 학원에서 전시회를 열었다. 그는 1824년과 1844년에 브리티시 인스티튜션에서 전시회를 열었다. 그의 경력 동안, 그는 존 프rederick 헤링 시니어와 협력하여 여러 경마 그림을 제작했는데, 그는 배경과 관중을 그렸고 헤링은 말을 그렸다. 그의 많은 작품은 아쿠아틴트로 출판되었지만, 아버지와 달리 직접 판을 새긴 것은 소수에 불과했다. James Pollard는 1867년에 첼시에서 사망했다.
