ヤン・ヘウミンスキ
ナポレオン軍事画で有名
ヤン・チェウミンスキ、別名ヤン・ファン・チェルミンスキ、本名ヤン・ヴワディスワフ・チェウミンスキは、ポーランドの画家でした。 ヘルミンスキーは1875年4月14日にミュンヘン美術アカデミーに入学し（登録番号：3144）、ヨーロッパ全域で活動しました。1895年からニューヨークに住みましたが、1893年に英国市民権を取得していました。 彼は二度結婚した。最初の妻マリー・ヘンシェル（1858–?）と離婚した後、ニューヨークの有名な美術商クノードラーのローランド・クノードラーの妹であるレオニー・クノードラーと結婚した。 ヘルミンスキーは、生涯を通じて歴史作品、特に軍事史やナポレオン戦争に関する作品で最もよく知られていた。
