讓-巴蒂斯特·德艾
法國宏大風格歷史畫家
讓-巴蒂斯特-亨利·德謝（Deshays）是一位法國畫家，擅長宗教和神話題材。 德謝出生於魯昂附近的科勒維爾。他的啟蒙訓練師從父親，即魯昂的小畫家讓-多米尼克·德謝，隨後他在讓-巴蒂斯特·德康普的免費繪畫學校短暫學習。大約在1740年至1749年間，他在亞森特·科蘭·德·韋爾馬特的巴黎畫室學習，並於1749年末至1751年在讓·雷斯圖二世的畫室學習。這兩人都曾是讓·茹弗內的學生，並以法國歷史畫的宏大風格進行創作，德謝也採納了這一風格作為自己的藝術風格。 在雷斯圖的工作室期間，德謝參加了羅馬大獎賽，1750年憑藉《拉班將女兒嫁給雅各》獲得二等獎，1751年憑藉《糞堆上的約伯》獲得一等獎。在前往羅馬之前，德謝在受保護學生學院完成了為期三年的必修訓練（在那裡他師從院長卡爾·范·洛，並獲得了一些宗教委託，包括為魯昂訪親修道院創作的兩幅大型畫布作品：《訪親》和《天使報喜》）。隨後，他在羅馬法蘭西學院在夏爾-約瑟夫·納托瓦爾的指導下度過了四年，臨摹了拉斐爾、多梅尼基諾、圭爾奇諾和卡拉奇家族的多部作品。1758年德謝返回巴黎後，娶了布歇的長女，一年後成為正式院士，儘管他僅在四次官方沙龍中展出作品。他逝世於巴黎。
