让-雅克·德·布瓦西厄
传统蚀刻最后的代表
让-雅克·德·布瓦西厄是一位法国素描家、蚀刻师和版画家。布瓦西厄出生于里昂，曾在家乡的免费绘画学校学习，但主要是自学成才。他在1758年至1764年间开始制作版画，随后随大使路易·亚历山大·德·拉罗什富科·丹维尔公爵（1743–1792）前往意大利；途中他遇见了伏尔泰，并带回了一批风景素描收藏。 让-雅克·德·布瓦西厄为《狄德罗-达朗贝尔百科全书》制作了一些版画。 他继续在里昂制作版画，这为他赢得了作为古老蚀刻传统最后一位代表人物的声誉。布瓦西厄创作了许多描绘罗马和荷兰乡村以及里昂周边乡村的蚀刻画。他也因作为复制版画家而备受追捧。 他的学生包括路易·尼古拉·菲利普·奥古斯特·德·福尔班和他的侄子克劳德·维克多·德·瓦西厄。
