約翰·雅各布·弗雷
瑞士意埃風景畫家
約翰·雅各布·弗雷是一位瑞士風景畫家，巴塞爾人，主要在義大利學習，他描繪該國的風景畫備受珍視。在陪同萊普修斯教授前往埃及時，他帶回了大量關於金字塔、迷宮等的優秀素描。令人遺憾的是，由於健康原因，他只能短暫停留。他於1845年創作的《沙漠中的坎辛風》現由德國皇帝收藏，廣受讚譽。他於1865年在羅馬附近的弗拉斯卡蒂去世。慕尼黑現代畫廊收藏有他的作品《底比斯附近的兩座門農巨像》。
