Johann Richter
Paisajes barrocos venecianos
Johan Richter, o Giovanni Richter, fue un pintor barroco sueco. Richter nació en Estocolmo, Suecia. Entre sus hermanos se encontraba el medallista Bengt Richter (1670–1735). Pintaba principalmente paisajes o vedutas de Venecia. Alrededor de 1710 viajó a Venecia, donde se le menciona como activo desde 1717. Su obra estuvo influenciada por el pintor italiano Luca Carlevarijs (1663–1730). Murió en 1745 en Venecia.
