Johann Richter

Johan Richter, ou Giovanni Richter, était un peintre baroque suédois. Richter est né à Stockholm, en Suède. Ses frères comprenaient le médaillé Bengt Richter (1670–1735). Il peignait principalement des paysages ou des vedute de Venise. Vers 1710, il s'est rendu à Venise, où il est mentionné comme actif à partir de 1717. Son œuvre a été influencée par le peintre italien Luca Carlevarijs (1663–1730). Il est mort en 1745 à Venise.
