水辺の風景画家
ヨハン・ヴィルヘルム・ヤンコフスキーは、ボヘミア・オーストリア系のヴェドゥータ画家でした。 There is very little credible information about him in the art historical reference works. In Heinrich Fuchs' work it says “Active in Austria and Bohemia around 1825 to 1861”, which indicates a date of birth around 1800. ヤンコフスキーは数十点の風景画を制作し、その多くは画面の中央または前景に水面を描いています。一部の作品はおそらく想像上の風景です。
