존 도노웰
런던 지형화와 판화
존 도노웰은 18세기 영국의 건축가이자 판화가로, 토마스 샌드비와 토마스 말턴과 동등하게 18세기 후반의 주요 건축 제도사 중 한 명으로 간주됩니다. 그는 1761년 프리 소사이어티에서 전시했으며, 이어 1760년대에는 아티스트 소사이어티에서, 그리고 1778년부터 1786년까지는 로열 아카데미에서 전시했습니다. 이 시기에는 일부 수채 채색된 판화들이 출판되었습니다. 도노웰은 많은 지형 드로잉을 제작했으며, 대부분 런던의 풍경으로, 당시 유행하던 메릴본 가든스의 그랜드 워크 등이 포함된다.
