John Donowell

John Donowell foi um arquiteto e gravador britânico do século XVIII, considerado o equivalente a Thomas Sandby e Thomas Malton como um dos principais desenhistas de arquitetura no terceiro quartel do século XVIII. Ele expôs em 1761 na Free Society, depois na década de 1760 na Society of Artists, e de 1778 a 1786 na Royal Academy; gravuras, algumas coloridas à mão, foram publicadas nessa época. Donowell fez uma série de desenhos topográficos, principalmente vistas de Londres, como a do Grand Walk nos então na moda Jardins de Marylebone.
