Josef Lauer
Pionero en bodegones florales paisajísticos
Josef Lauer nació en 1818 en Viena. Estudió en la Academia de Bellas Artes en las clases de Sebastian Wegmayr, Joseph Mössmer, Thomas Ender y Franz Steinfeld. Lauer se centró en pintar bodegones con flores y frutas, siendo el primero en representar bodegones florales integrados en paisajes. Su primera exposición fue en 1840, luego mostró sus obras en diferentes exposiciones, también en la Asociación Artística Austriaca. Desde 1861, también fue miembro de la Künstlerhaus de Viena. Vivió y trabajó exclusivamente en Viena. Josef Lauer murió en 1881 en Viena.
