Joseph Constantine Stadler

Joseph Constantine Stadler war ein produktiver deutscher Emigrant und Kupferstecher, der Werke nach Vorlagen seiner Zeitgenossen anfertigte. Seine Stichwerke umfassen ein breites Themenspektrum, darunter Landschaften, Seestücke und Porträts sowie militärische, sportliche und dekorative Motive. Stadler war bei dem führenden Druckverleger der damaligen Zeit, John Boydell (1720–1804), angestellt. Am 23. März 1799 heiratete Stadler Ann Elizabeth Sandman in der St.-Anne-Kirche in Soho, London. Er lebte in Knightsbridge, als er im Alter von 73 Jahren starb.
