約瑟夫·尼古拉·羅貝爾-弗勒里
悲劇歷史畫大師
約瑟夫-尼古拉·羅貝爾-弗勒里是一位法國畫家。他出生於科隆，被家人送往巴黎，在意大利旅行後返回法國，並於1824年在沙龍首次亮相；然而，直到三年後他展出《聖奧諾弗里烏斯修道院中的塔索》時，他的聲譽才得以確立。 他天資聰穎，富有生動的想像力，尤其擅長描繪歷史上的悲劇事件，因此很快聲名鵲起，並於1850年接替François Granet成為Académie des Beaux-Arts的成員。1855年，他被任命為教授，1863年出任École des Beaux-Arts的院長，次年前往羅馬，擔任該市French Academy的院長。他的學生包括Marie-Adélaïde Baubry-Vaillant、David Bles、Marguerite Jacquelin、Charles Désiré Hué [fr]、Leon Kapliński和Henri Le Riche [fr]。他的兒子Tony Robert-Fleury也是一名畫家。
