Jozef Hanula
Pioniere dell'illustrazione infantile slovacca
Jozef Hanula era un pittore slovacco. Ha studiato alla Scuola Regionale di Disegno di Budapest con Š. Hollósy e all'Accademia delle Belle Arti di Monaco. Dal 1908 lavorò anche come illustratore di libri, essendo particolarmente pioniere nella letteratura per bambini e ragazzi. Dipinse gli interni delle chiese cattoliche di Banská Bystrica (1935), Banská Bystrica-Sásová (1940), Banská Bystrica-Radvani e altre. Nel 1919, fu cofondatore dell'Associazione degli Artisti Slovacchi a Martin. Nel 1941 ricevette il premio statale.
