カール・ルス
水彩でシュタイア民俗衣装を記録
カール・ルスはオーストリアの画家です。 カール・ルスはウィーン美術アカデミーで学び、主に神話、古代、およびオーストリアの歴史を描いた作品を制作しました。1806年、彼はアルベルティーナ美術館で活動しました。 1810年、彼はジャン＝バティスト・ドートリッシュの宮廷画家となり、シュタイアーマルクを散策しながらその地域を探訪し、依頼された絵画のための図案を探した。彼は現地の庶民がシュタイアーマルクの伝統衣装を着た姿を一連の水彩画で捉えた。これらの作品は、ブルジョワ女性の祝祭用ドレスから農家の少年の服装まで、1810年から1820年の間の伝統的衣装に関する重要な資料となっている。 カール・ルスは画家レアンダー・ルスの父です。
