葛飾北齋
富士山木版畫大師
葛飾北齋，簡稱北齋，是日本江戶時代的藝術家、浮世繪畫家和版畫家。北齋出生於江戶（今東京），最著名的作品是木刻版畫系列《富嶽三十六景》（約1831年），其中包括具有國際標誌性的版畫《神奈川沖浪裏》。 葛飾北齋創作《富嶽三十六景》既是對國內旅遊熱潮的回應，也是出於個人對富士山的痴迷。正是這一系列作品，特別是《神奈川沖浪裏》和《凱風快晴》，確立了葛飾北齋在日本及海外的聲譽。正如歷史學家理查德·萊恩所總結：「如果有一部作品讓葛飾北齋名揚日本及海外，那必定是這套宏大的版畫系列。」儘管葛飾北齋在此系列之前的作品固然重要，但直到這套系列問世，他才獲得廣泛的認可。
