Pedro Duque y Cornejo
Escultor barroco sevillano
Pedro Duque y Cornejo fue un pintor y escultor español del barroco, perteneciente a la escuela sevillana de escultura y discípulo de su abuelo Pedro Roldán. Nació en Sevilla y trabajó principalmente en su ciudad natal (iglesia del Sagrario, Palacio de San Telmo y la Catedral local), Granada y Madrid (estatuas en Santa María de El Paular, después de 1725). En Córdoba realizó el coro de la Mezquita-Catedral. Murió en Córdoba.
