彼得·比爾曼
瑞士風景畫大師
彼得·比爾曼是一位瑞士畫家。他最初在父親魯道夫（一位石匠）那裡接受訓練，隨後在多位瑞士藝術家的工作室繼續學習：1771年師從小魯道夫·胡貝爾，在波朗特呂跟隨奧古斯特·考夫曼學習，在伯爾尼的瓦格納工作室學習，師從馬爾夸德·沃歇爾，最後師從約翰·路德維希·阿伯利。1777年，他啟程前往羅馬，並在1781年至1790年間旅居於此。他在那裡於同胞兼畫家亞伯拉罕-路易-羅多爾夫·杜克羅斯的工作室工作，隨後擔任意大利版畫家喬瓦尼·沃爾帕托工作室的負責人。在此期間，他結識了德國詩人約翰·沃爾夫岡·馮·歌德。 他專攻風景素描和版畫。 他的兒子塞繆爾·比爾曼（1793-1847）也是一位風景畫家。
