法蘭德斯巴洛克古典主義畫家
彼得·范·林特（Pieter van Lint 或 Peter van Lint）是一位法蘭德斯畫家、素描家和掛毯設計師。他擅長以帶有某些古典主義影響的法蘭德斯巴洛克風格創作歷史畫、風俗畫和肖像畫。他曾在安特衛普和義大利工作。 他出生於安特衛普，師從阿圖斯·沃爾福特。在受訓期間，他經常參觀安特衛普的教堂，臨摹同時代畫家（如彼得·保羅·魯本斯）以及前幾代畫家（如馬滕·德·沃斯和弗蘭肯兄弟）的作品。 范·林特於1633年成為聖路加公會的大師。同年，他前往羅馬，並在那裡停留至1640年。在羅馬期間，他為奧斯蒂亞主教多梅尼科·吉納西樞機主教工作，受僱裝飾當地的主教座堂。1636年至1640年間，范·林特還在人民聖母聖殿的奇博家族小教堂繪製了《真十字架傳奇》的濕壁畫。除了宗教委託外，這位藝術家還以班博恰蒂的風格繪製了許多小型風俗畫場景。1640年至1641年，他在巴黎度過了一段時間，期間可能與普桑有過接觸。 1642年返回安特衛普後的第二年，他娶了伊麗莎白·威廉明斯。這對夫婦育有七個孩子。1679年喪偶後，這位藝術家於次年再婚，娶了安娜·莫倫（Moren或Morren）。 他的學生包括Caerel de las Cuevas、Jan-Baptista Ferrari和Godfried Maes。他與第二任妻子所生的兒子Hendrik Frans van Lint是羅馬著名的風景畫家。 他於安特衛普去世。
