Pierre-Jacques Volaire

Pierre-Jacques Volaire war ein französischer Maler. Er wurde in Toulon als Sohn des offiziellen Stadtmalers und Schriftstellers geboren und wurde Schüler von Claude Joseph Vernet. Acht Jahre lang war er dessen Assistent und war für seine Landschafts- und Marinemalerei bekannt. Er starb in Neapel.
