Pieter de Bloot era un pittore olandese. De Bloot, nato e morto a Rotterdam, dipinse principalmente paesaggi e opere di genere, in particolare vedute di campagna e soggetti contadini. Dipinse anche occasionalmente soggetti religiosi. Tra il 1624 e il 1630, de Bloot si sposò tre volte, poiché le sue prime due mogli morirono pochi mesi dopo il matrimonio. De Bloot morì nel 1658.
