Pieter Mulier I foi um pintor holandês da Idade de Ouro. De acordo com o RKD, ele se casou em 1635 e tornou-se membro da Guilda de São Lucas de Haarlem em 1638. Ele é conhecido por suas paisagens italianizantes e marinhas no estilo de Simon de Vlieger e Jan van Goyen. Foi mestre de seu filho Pieter Mulier II e de Frans de Hulst.
