Richard Barrett Davis

Richard Barrett Davis RBA war ein Tier- und Landschaftsmaler. Davis wurde 1782 in Watford geboren. Er studierte bei William Evans von Eton, bei William Beechey und an den Schulen der Royal Academy, wo er 1802 erstmals ausstellte. Er trat 1829 der Society of British Artists bei und wurde 1831 zum Tiermaler von Wilhelm IV. ernannt. Er starb 1854.
