Richard Barrett Davis

Richard Barrett Davis RBA était un peintre animalier et paysagiste. Davis est né à Watford en 1782. Il a étudié sous la direction de William Evans d'Eton, de William Beechey, et dans les écoles de la Royal Academy, où il a exposé pour la première fois en 1802. Il a rejoint la Society of British Artists en 1829 et a été nommé peintre animalier de Guillaume IV en 1831. Il est mort en 1854.
