Richard Barrett Davis

Richard Barrett Davis RBA era un pittore di animali e paesaggi. Davis nacque a Watford nel 1782. Studiò sotto William Evans di Eton, sotto William Beechey e nelle scuole della Royal Academy, dove espose per la prima volta nel 1802. Si unì alla Society of British Artists nel 1829 e fu nominato pittore di animali di Guglielmo IV nel 1831. Morì nel 1854.
