Richard Baseleer
Maestro de vistas del Escalda
Richard Baseleer fue un pintor y grabador belga. Fue formado por su padre, quien era grabador y litógrafo. Realizó figuras, retratos y escenas de paisajes urbanos, pero era especialmente famoso por sus marinas y vistas fluviales. Estas últimas le valieron el apodo de «pintor del Bajo Escalda». Pintó los puertos de Amberes y Venecia.
