Richard Baseleer
Maestro delle viste della Schelda
Richard Baseleer era un pittore e incisore belga. Fu formato da suo padre, che era incisore e litografo. Realizzò figure, ritratti e scene di paesaggi urbani, ma era particolarmente famoso per le sue marine e vedute fluviali. Queste ultime gli valsero il soprannome di «pittore della Bassa Schelda». Dipinse i porti di Anversa e Venezia.
