Robert Hills
Pintor de cenas rurais
Robert Hills foi um pintor e gravador inglês. Hills nasceu em Islington. Inicialmente, estudou com John Alexander Gresse e depois se matriculou na Royal Academy of Arts em 1788. Ele pintava principalmente cenas rurais, especialmente animais de fazenda. Várias de suas obras podem ser encontradas hoje no Museu Britânico. Hills era conhecido por desenhar animais em obras de outros artistas, como George Barret, Jr. e George Fennell Robson. Ele publicou Esboços na Flandres e na Holanda (1816), com suas próprias aquatintas.
