Rudolf Kremlička fue un pintor checo. Estudió en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Praga. Allí fue influenciado por las obras de los pintores Slavíček y Schwaiger. Visitó París, donde tuvo la oportunidad de ver las obras de importantes impresionistas (su modelo era Édouard Manet). También fue fuertemente influenciado por Ingres. In 1924 he published Painting Confessions in which he explained his approach to modern art, nudes and landscape painting in the form of a diary. He died at the age of 45 and was buried in the Olšany cemeteries .
