Teodor Ziomek was a Polish painter. He attended the Art School in Warsaw, His lecturers were Wojciech Gerson and Adam Badowski, after graduating in 1897, he continued his education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow under the supervision of Leon Wyczółkowski. Already during his studies in Krakow, he participated in exhibitions (including 1897, 1899), at which his works were awarded many times. He returned to Warsaw in 1905, but often traveled around the country and Europe to paint. He belonged to the Society of Polish Artists "Sztuka" and the Odłam Artists Association operating from 1908 to 1919 in Warsaw. On January 31, 1937, he was buried at the Powązki Cemetery (plot 284 direct-5-4). The murder of the President of the Republic of Poland , Gabriel Narutowicz, which took place in the building of the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw on December 16, 1922, happened when the president was standing in front of a painting by Teodor Ziomek.
