Teodoro J. Richardson
Famoso por paisajes de Alaska
Nacido en Readfield, Maine, Theodore Jerome Richardson creció en Red Wing, Minnesota. Después de la secundaria, estudió en la Boston Normal Art School antes de regresar a Minnesota, donde impartió clases de arte, caligrafía y geometría en el Minnesota State Normal College de Winona. En 1880, Richardson fue contratado por las Escuelas Públicas de Minneapolis como superintendente de dibujo industrial. Padre fundador y miembro fundador de la Sociedad de Bellas Artes de Minneapolis en 1883, tuvo su primera retrospectiva póstuma en 1928. Richardson es más conocido por sus pinturas de Alaska, que pintó durante los veranos a partir de 1884.
