Teodoro J. Richardson
Famoso por paisagens do Alasca
Nascido em Readfield, Maine, Theodore Jerome Richardson cresceu em Red Wing, Minnesota. Após o ensino médio, estudou na Boston Normal Art School antes de retornar a Minnesota, onde lecionou arte, caligrafia e geometria no Minnesota State Normal College em Winona. Em 1880, Richardson foi contratado pelas Escolas Públicas de Minneapolis como superintendente de desenho industrial. Pai fundador e membro charter da Sociedade de Belas Artes de Minneapolis em 1883, teve sua primeira retrospectiva póstuma em 1928. Richardson é mais conhecido por suas pinturas do Alasca, que ele pintou durante os verões a partir de 1884.
