威廉·漢密爾頓（1751–1801）是一位英國畫家和插畫家。漢密爾頓出生於倫敦切爾西，但與安東尼奧·祖基一起在義大利旅行和工作了數年。他最初接受的是建築繪圖員的訓練，但很快轉向戲劇肖像和戲劇場景。漢密爾頓於1784年成為皇家藝術學院的準會員，並於1789年成為正式會員。漢密爾頓因描繪莎士比亞戲劇片段的繪畫以及詩歌插圖而聞名。他受委託為約翰·博伊德爾的莎士比亞畫廊、托馬斯·麥克林的聖經以及羅伯特·鮑耶的英國歷史創作作品。這些作品在流行版畫中被廣泛複製。
