威廉·拉塞尔·伯奇
开创美国珐琅微画与风景版画
威廉·拉塞尔·伯奇是一位英国微型画家、珐琅师以及风景版画家和设计师。 伯奇出生于沃里克郡，是安妮（娘家姓拉塞尔）和医生托马斯·伯奇的儿子。他的童年早期在沃里克度过，曾师从珠宝商托马斯·杰弗里斯和乔舒亚·雷诺兹爵士。珐琅画家亨利·斯派塞指导伯奇学习珐琅绘画艺术。1781年至1794年间，伯奇在皇家艺术学院展出了珐琅肖像画。1785年，他获得了皇家艺术学会颁发的奖章。作为一名版画家，他在英国最为人所知的是其作品《大不列颠之悦》（Délices de la Grande Bretagne），该作品包含三十六幅诺里奇及其他地方的古建筑版画，于1791年出版。 1794年移居费城后，他制作了许多人物的肖像珐琅，其中包括吉尔伯特·斯图尔特所绘乔治·华盛顿肖像的复制品。他于1800年制作的费城风景版画系列极受欢迎，因而又增印了三个版本。威廉·伯奇是美国肖像及海洋画家托马斯·伯奇的父亲。他的打字稿自传由宾夕法尼亚历史学会收藏。他于费城去世，享年79岁。
