Daddy's Room
Step into the cozy, book-lined sanctuary of Swedish artist Carl Larsson, where domestic life was treated as high art. You can spot the artist himself in the background, seemingly mid-routine, surrounded by shelves packed with books that reach right up to the ceiling. The distinctive red woodwork and the inviting four-poster bed aren't just decorative choices; they helped define the 'Swedish Style' of interior design that remains influential today. It’s a charming glimpse into the home at Sundborn that Larsson shared with his wife Karin, making the ordinary feel extraordinary.
