Cupido
Perched high on a sturdy branch, this mischievous little Cupid takes a break from his matchmaking duties, casually resting his golden bow against his shoulder. With curly blonde hair and tiny white wings, he looks more like a cherubic daydreamer than the god of desire, gazing off into the distance while his quiver of arrows hangs ready nearby. Below him, blooming pink roses add a romantic touch to the scene, hinting at the love he's about to spread. Guillaume Seignac, a master of French Academic art, painted this with incredible realism, making the soft skin and fluffy clouds look almost touchable.
