Meet the ultimate teenage delivery guy from the early 1930s. In 'The Boy with Bottles,' Slovak artist Gustáv Mallý captures a young waiter who looks thoroughly overwhelmed by his cargo. Clutching a bottle to his chest with a napkin while dragging a heavy jug by his side, he sports a universal expression of 'please don't ask me to carry anything else.' Created during the Expressionist movement, the sketch uses rough, energetic lines to prioritize the weary character of the boy over perfect realism, making him feel incredibly relatable even a century later.
