ネプトゥヌス
19th Century
Bold black lines carve out a mystical, geometric face representing Neptune, complete with a trident symbol resting in the beard and a radiant six-pointed star on the forehead. This striking linocut belongs to a series called 'My Planet Masks,' where the artist transforms celestial bodies into stylized, almost tribal visages. The sharp contrast and radiating rays give the sea god an intense, cosmic energy that feels both ancient and modern.
