Urano
19th Century
Imagine a mythological god getting a geometric makeover—that's what's happening here. This woodcut print depicts Uranus with sharp, angular features and intense, staring eyes that feel almost mechanical. A massive sunburst radiates from a hexagram symbol above his head, suggesting cosmic power and esoteric mystery. The bold black-and-white contrast captures the sleek drama of Art Deco, making this ancient sky deity look like a symbol of modern industrial strength.
