신부 또는 신랑에게 주는 조언
This whimsical page features a tiny, top-hatted head floating in a pale yellow square, accompanied by a cheeky Spanish poem about marriage. The text advises couples to wed by civil law, by the church, and finally by 'the old way'—a humorous nod to tradition or common-law unions. While José Guadalupe Posada is world-famous for his skeletal Calaveras that define Day of the Dead imagery, this piece highlights his talent for social satire and everyday commentary during the Mexican Porfiriato era.
