云山图卷-题跋2
This image captures a 'colophon'—a written inscription added to a scroll—associated with the great Song Dynasty painter Mi Youren and his famous 'Mi-style' cloudy landscapes. On the left, larger characters form a poem by the Yuan dynasty scholar Guo Tianxi, praising the misty scenery that looks like 'cloudy trees in a river village.' The right side features wild, cursive calligraphy that dances across the page, seemingly discussing the philosophy and difficulty of painting. Those red stamps scattered throughout are collector seals, acting like a historical guestbook that proves this artwork has been passed down and cherished for centuries.
